 The skimmers of the Classic DOC skimmer model series operate according to the horizontal rotation principle of the first generation, supplemented with the newly developed air production of the Hydrofoamer. Despite its very small structural shape, this unit has an excellent skimming performance, and is especially suitable for breeding tanks with living plankton. Classic DOC skimmer models can be placed easily and discreetly in the aquarium directly. The immersion depth ranges from 60 to 90 mm (2.3 to 3.5 in.). They can also be used in aquarium cabinets and tolerate water level variations of +/- 20 mm (.78 in.) without readjustment of the air output. Skimmer cup and foam reactor are one unit in all TUNZE® ClassicDOC skimmers.
Delivery condition: Completely ready for mounting with holding device for vertical panes and horizontal glass tops up to 19 mm (.74 in.).

 At an immersion depth of 240 to 290 mm (9.4 to 11.4 in.), the Comline DOC skimmer models can be placed easily and discreetly in the aquarium directly. The inlet of fresh water can be set at between 5 per cent and 70 per cent. They can also be used in aquarium cabinets with variable levels from 100 to 280 mm (3.9 to 11 in.). The accessories supplied have to be used to ensure the generation of a constant internal water level. The water circuit is totally open and operates at a fresh-water inlet of 100 per cent; depending on model, a water throughput of 1,200 l/h or 2,400 l/h (317 US gal./h or 634 US gal./h) is achieved, distinctly improving the gas exchange in the aquarium.
In case of operation in aquarium cabinets, the cartridge core on the outlet pipe ensures bubble-free outgoing water. Skimmer cup and foam reactor are one unit in all TUNZE® DOC skimmers. Every cleaning of the skimmer cup leads to the reactor being cleaned at the same time, and thus a very constant and efficient foam production is ensured. During the cleaning process, the Hydrofoamer remains operational and automatically flushes the jet and the air passage.
Delivery condition: Completely ready for mounting with numerous holding devices like in Comline Filter or Reefpack 500.

 This pump specifically developed for protein skimmers can be fitted in addition to the Master DOC Skimmer 9420 or 9460 which increases the skimming capacity per Hydrofoamer to suit a tank volume of about 2,000 litres (528 USgal.). TUNZE® Hydrofoamer 9400.04 can also be used as a standard dispersant on every conventional skimmer of this size on the market.

 The characteristic features of the Master DOC skimmer model series are primarily ergonomics and efficiency. It is an efficient unit, which represents a real technical evolution of today's protein skimmers for aquariums. Master DOC skimmer has been designed for the use in aquarium cabinets and can make do with a variable water level without interruption of the foam production.  The “Nano” model series has been designed for the use in reef biotopes up to 200 litres (52 US gal.), and is gentle to the plankton in operation. The DOC Skimmer 9002 removes up to 80 per cent of organic waste matter, such as protein and cellulose, from the aquarium water. Very little space is required in the aquarium, and its handling is very easy. On account of their construction, these models are particularly quiet during operation. On account of the high demands in stone coral aquariums, this skimmer should be used only in aquariums with about 100 litres (26 US gal.) of water. Mixed aquariums or soft coral aquariums up to 200 litres (52 USgal.) can be set up without any problems.
Delivery condition: Ready for mounting with patented magnet holder up to a glass thickness of 19 mm (.74 in.).
By means of the water jet of the Nano pump and a high-performance jet, a fine pearly air mixture is produced which is released into an easy-to-clean skimmer cup through a newly developed reflection system. The protein-containing aquarium water diffuses into the skimmer through the opening in the bottom and on the rear, which is gentle to the plankton, thus suitable in particular for breeding tanks with living plankton.
