Prima Alkali is a concentrated, ionically balanced blend of alcaline compounds designed to restore and maintain inside the Reef Aquarium the correct “Alcaline Balance” to levels found in natural seawater.

It includes Calcium as well as Magnesium and Strontium, in an amounts proportionate to the average utilization ratios thus allowing to keep the correct level of these two important elements while integrating Calcium to the desired value.

Used in combination with Prima Carbonates, it will permits the aquarist to easily maintain calcium and alkalinity levels with no disruption of the ionic balance of the Aquarium water.

Prima Elements is a concentrated, blend of Iodine, Bromine, Fluorine, Lithium, Molybdenum, Vanadium and Minor Trace Elements designed to restore and maintain inside the Reef Aquarium the correct “Iodine Levels” as well as to replenish Trace elements normally depleted by utilization, precipitation and oxidation.

Iodine is a mineral that usually runs short very quickly inside our marine aquaria. In natural seawater its concentration is about 60 part per billion (0,06 mg/Lt) and can be even higher in coastal water. Iodine plays an active role in the formation of UV-protective pigment in the corals tissue. Many marine aquariums shows lack of this element which cannot be eliminated by simply water changes.

Prima Elements, offers to the reef hobbyist an easy way to add Microelements while adding Iodine to significantly simplify the periodic integration of fundamental elements to community marine aquaria.

In combination with Prima Alkali, it is the BASIC ADDITIVE that will satisfy 90% of the needs of an average marine aquarium full of life.

Prima Carbonates is a specially formulated blend of carbonate, borates, bicarbonate salts designed for a DOUBLE EFFECT:

• To RESTORE in the short term the missing alkalinity
• To IMPROVE in the medium term the buffer capacity of the aquarium water.

In contrast to many basic products available on the market, Prima Carbonates is not just a mix of borate and carbonate but a blended of pure, slow-release salts able to restore as well as to improve the buffer capacity. Its complex formula is designed to mix clear with no cloudiness or precipitation.

Prima Combi-mg is an innovative integrator formulated using higly bio-available organic magnesium, designed for a DOUBLE EFFECT:

• To MAINTAIN the correct level of magnesium inside the tank.
• To IMPROVE in the medium term the stability of this element inside the tank.

Based on an organic complex of Magnesium, it shows an higher bioavailability than ionic formula, thus improving its assimilation by the corals, providing a rich source of metabolic energy to help maintain peak corals conditions.l

Prima Combi-mg may be used alone or in combination with Prima Alkali to maintain magnesium at the proper level, and is not intended to increase the magnesium level. If magnesium becomes seriously depleted one should either perform a water change or use an ionic magnesium supplement, such as ELOS Expert Magnesium, to restore to the natural level as in NSW.
